I happened to find my name in Debra's posting which made me reminisce about my time at Chaddy High. Unfortunately your name was not familiar to me so I went in search of my copies of the Phoenix magazine for 1970-1973. I have found you in the class photo for Form 1A in 1971. Debra, Gerry and the others mentioned were in Form 2A in 1971. So we were all a year ahead of you.

Just a reminder about our 50th Birthday year reunion to be held on the 13th March 2010 at the Malvern Hotel starting 12 noon.

I already have some acceptances and some apologies. (Ken Liddicoat can't make it but has sent me a great video clip to play on the day ). If you can?t come along and would like to say a quick hello via video or voice message. Send the video to my email address and the voice message to my mobile or you can email it to me.

Also can you let me know if you are coming so we can get final numbers. . Rob Arthur's coming down from Noosa. It'll be great to see you again Rob.

I had a lead on Alison Cavanagh, but I?ve had no luck in progressing that one and the same with Angela Sinclair, with a bloke contacting me saying he knew Jacqueline Sinclair and would pass an invite on but I've heard nothing since. Wendy Smith dropped out of sight after a few emails going backwards and forwards.

Hope to see you there on the 13th.

Hi Debbie,

Whilst your name doesn't ring any bells with me, I was in 1a and 2a at the same time.

I was friends with Jan Edwards, Debbie Crowe, and Vicki Corner.

Once I left school I traveled a lot and never kept in contact with school friends.

I just recently discovered this site when trying to find out what happened to the school.

It would be great to catch up with people after all this time.

Well this is it folks. This is the one we talked about back in 2007 when we had our first reunion at the Malvern Hotel in March of that year.

Since then the Old Farts Club has had a number of minor get togethers, with a few extras joining us each time, who weren't at the March 2007 Reunion.

The general idea put forward was we'd have another reunion in 2010 as this is the year many of us turn 50 (half the class anyway - the other half turned 50 in 2009 - poor things).

So just to make an Executive decision on the date and venue, I'm strongly suggesting 12 noon on Saturday March 13th, 2010 at the Malvern Hotel again. That way it doesn't interfere with the Labour Day weekend as people might have already planned to go away.

The venue seemed quite convenient for most people and the food was great.

So put it in your Diary folks and hopefully we'll see you there.

I`ve seen your name on classmates, have you got any schoolphoto`s from that time.
If you have any I`ll put some names to them, because in my mind I see those faces as clear as day.
At that time I was stupid enough to think we where allways gonna see one another, so I didn`t buy the photo`s.
